About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Access in Chillicothe, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and access control exceptions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
