Requirements

  • Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and customers at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, vehicle lot concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle inventory areas, parking lots, service lanes, sales areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, visitor, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
