As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and shipping and receiving areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
