As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol and Access Control in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and operations location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify approved entry, and report maintenance, traffic, and/or operational issues observed during patrols.
  • Support site operations by following post orders, preparing incident reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner during varying shifts and conditions.
