As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Fredericksburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout your shift while supporting a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, entry points, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior or conditions.
  • Support a food and beverage environment by remaining aware of fast-paced operations, helping with order at the location, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related issues and/or disruptions.
