As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to alarms and incidents with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial operations, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
  • Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and unusual activity observed during patrols to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
