About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through visibility, communication, and customer service. In this role, you will support a caring team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and report maintenance, environmental, and security-related issues observed during patrols.
