As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while working as part of a team that values agility, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and communication with store personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
