As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Guard card is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utility location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and utility location requirements.
Support emergency and severe weather procedures by communicating relevant information, assisting with controlled access during incidents, and following post orders for utility-related operations.
