About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness and site operations. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while bringing an agile, reliable, innovative approach and acting with integrity every day at Allied Universal.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and customer service expectations at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or visitor activity to help support authorized access practices and document arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents according to site policies.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay important observations during shift changes to help support consistent site coverage and awareness.
