As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while helping maintain a secure environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratory-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and emergency responders.
