Requirements
- Current BSIS Guard Card
- Current BSIS Baton Permit
- Pepper Spray Certification
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Valid California Driver's License with 3 years of a clean record
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Strong observation and report writing skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and post orders
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Access control experience preferred
- Bilingual skills highly desirable
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conducting foot patrols of assigned properties
- Monitoring for unauthorized activity or safety concerns
- Responding to emergencies including medical, fire, or property damage
- Maintaining Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports using a smartphone device
- Providing professional communication with clients, residents, and the public
- Enforcing post orders and security procedures
- Maintaining professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability
