As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
