As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, orderly environment. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
  • Complete daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
