About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Gulfport, Mississippi. The officer will provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors; conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle patrols throughout assigned areas; maintain a visible, professional presence to help deter incidents; and respond to concerns and critical situations according to site procedures. The position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned retail areas, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the perimeter.
Help deter theft, unauthorized activity, and other security concerns through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
