As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points with clear communication and professional customer service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry and loss.
• Complete shift logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to the supervisor and/or client representatives.
