About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and building activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by providing visible presence, assisting with directions and inquiries, and communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, and/or contractors.
