Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, tenants, and staff while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and tenant spaces as assigned.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel while helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, crowd management, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
