Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
