As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol in Salisbury, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a regulated retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, sales areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and other security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
