As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing for damaged property, open doors, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations, then reporting findings through proper channels.
