As a Security Officer Unarmed Relief in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Guard card is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or supervisors.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and utility industry requirements.
Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with traffic and gate activity as needed, and completing required reports related to security-related events and/or patrol findings.
