In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or passengers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including public areas, restricted areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing activity, and reporting unusual behavior and/or conditions.
Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leaders and site contacts.
