Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, respond to alarms and/or panel alerts, and use a computer or tablet to document activity while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate responders and notifying site management as required.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading and parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, then take appropriate action consistent with post orders.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
