As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support badge and access control processes, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
