Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify potential issues, policy violations, and/or conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and help support restricted-area access control requirements.
  • Support incident response and daily operations by maintaining detailed logs, preparing clear reports, and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.
