About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site procedures, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by documenting daily activities, observing interactions in public areas, and assisting with security-related needs while following Allied Universal standards and post orders.
