As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Marion, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing required reports.
• Support a professional and orderly industrial work environment by observing for potential hazards, damaged property, and policy concerns, and escalating findings through established channels.
