As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Moreland, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for loitering, unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate observations to management or law enforcement when needed.
• Support closing and opening activities, assist with crowd and/or queue observation during busy periods, and help to deter theft, vandalism, and other disruptive activity through visible presence.
