As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to questions and concerns with clear communication and service-focused professionalism, supporting patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with onsite leadership, and contacting public emergency services when required.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and assist with wayfinding and escort requests when authorized.
• Complete timely reports and logs on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and onsite client contacts.
