As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lexington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while responding to daily site needs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe suspicious behavior, and/or address unauthorized access concerns.
Assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and after-hours checks while maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance to customers and staff.
