As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Representative in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols during routine and unusual conditions.
