Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
• Monitor access points and public areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior at the location.
• Assist with directing the public, providing information, and supporting orderly operations during disruptions, special events, and/or emergencies.
