Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry in support of location protocols.
Support security-related operations within a technology-focused location by observing equipment areas, reporting facility issues, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
