You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or interactions in accordance with site policies.
  • Communicate with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, maintenance issues, and unusual activity.
