Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support traffic and pedestrian flow in accordance with site protocols.
• Observe conditions within an industrial chemical location and report spills, leaks, equipment concerns, and/or other unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
