As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with passengers and staff, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public.
