About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential checks, visitor registration, and directions as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
