About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property, including lobbies, corridors, amenities areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas for unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with directions and general guest inquiries.
  • Support access control and visitor-related processes, report maintenance or hazard-related concerns to appropriate personnel, and complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation.
