As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide courteous customer service to residents and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe community activity, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs while maintaining a professional presence throughout the residential location.
