About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, verifying credentials and directing personnel and visitors as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities.
