As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guard in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, client policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, exterior areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Support access control practices, assist with directing foot traffic, and complete required logs, reports, and/or other documentation related to daily activities and incidents.
