Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, and delivery personnel, help to verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report discrepancies according to post orders.
• Observe operational areas for hazards, property damage, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations, then report findings and complete required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
