As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff while responding to site needs with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or unusual activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and communicating professionally with store personnel and the public.
