Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas within a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and security-related post orders.
• Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by reporting damaged property, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or policy violations while maintaining detailed daily activity logs.
