Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or policy concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support personnel and visitors with directions, instructions, and policy guidance while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and location-specific requirements common to an industrial environment.
