Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, badges, and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contact.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and inquiries, and following Allied Universal protocols for incident response and reporting.
