About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver at a utility location in Miami, Florida, you will help safeguard the client through routine unarmed patrols and by operating a vehicle as part of the driving post. You will maintain a visible security presence to help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. The role is part-time and scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a utility location while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, and report unusual conditions or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs about patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security observations.
Operate a vehicle as part of the driving post.
