Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related protocols appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to verify authorized access and/or direct visitors according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts and/or first responders during medical, fire, or facility-related events.
