As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Administration in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist guests and staff with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hotel public areas, guest corridors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to help deter unauthorized entry, disturbances, and policy violations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.
